Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC The Queen and The Crone adds two legendary lords and more

Total War: Warhammer 2 will receive a major DLC pack on May 31 with The Queen and The Crone.

This will coincide with a free update that adds Norsca to the Mortal Empires campaign.

The Queen and The Crone DLC will add two new legendary lords, being Alarielle the Radiant and Crone Hellebron. Arialle is a mixed-lore caster with life and high magic and her objective sees her pursue the Legendary item, the Star of Averlorn. This may eventually be upgraded to an Elven Steed, Barded Ithilmar Steed and a Great Eagle. Alarielle can also summon Forest Spirits to help her, such as Dryads, Treekin and Treemen.

Crone Hellebron, meanwhile, has upkeep reductions to Witch Elves and can call a Death Night which sends her slaves on suicidal, berserker rage. Any nearby Dark Elves can also undertake the Blood Voyage, seeing them raise an army in thrall to Crone Hellebron. Her quest sees her pursue the Deathsword and the Cursed Blade. These can be upgraded to ride a Dark Steed, a Cauldron of Blood and a Manticore.

There are new battlefield units for both races, as well as a new Hero type for High Elves and Lord type for Dark Elves. You can also collect 16 elite Regiments of Renown and try out new campaign mechanics and objectives.

The DLC sees The Hag-Queen, Crone Hellebron, leading murderous Dark Elves to destroy the world.

The content will be available for £5.39 at a promotional price until May 31, and then be available for £5.99 after that.
