Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty 2023 DLC Roadmap includes crossovers with Nioh and Lies of P

We’ve finally got more details on Wo Long’s DLC roadmap and there’s a few surprise inclusions.

Along with key information about the release windows for DLC 2 (September) and DLC 3 (December), we’ve now learned Team Ninja’s souls-like will be crossing over with like-minded games Nioh and Lies of P when that launches in September.

It all comes as part of the first Director’s Letter and content begins in August with a free update that adds an Additional mission (Boss Rush Part 2), as well as further Balance adjustments and feature improvements.

Boss Rush Part 2 follows an update added to the game in May, which, of course, adds tougher difficulty missions, but this part focuses on bosses that weren’t previously in Part 1.

DLC 2, Conqueror of Jiangdong will then arrive in September and throw in the following…

  • Paid DLC Vol. 2 “Conqueror of Jiangdong”
    • New weapon type
    • New story
    • New mission
    • New difficulty level
    • New enemies
    • New Divine Beast
    • New equipment level
    • New rarity
    • New equipment
    • New end-game content

In addition to that, the first of two game cross-overs will release in September to coincide with the launch of Lies of P. This will be a free update and add more balance adjustments and features, as well as an all new Wizardry spell.

Details on what the Lies of P and Nioh collaborations will contain will be shared closer to release.

In October and November, two further free updates will be added into the game with Feature and Balance Adjustments. November will also see the inclusion of the Nioh Collaboration.

Finally, in December, DLC 3 ‘Upheaval in Jiangxiang’ will release, adding the below…

    • Paid DLC Vol. 3 “Upheaval in Jiangxiang”
      • New weapon type
      • New story
      • New mission
      • New difficulty level
      • New enemies
      • New Divine Beast
      • New equipment level
      • New rarity
      • New equipment
      • New end-game content

Wo Long is going to be a very active and busy game for the remainder of 2023. We’ll report more on the collaborations and content as it arrives.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is now available on PC, PS and on Xbox Game Pass
