Xenoblade 2 Expansion Pass Revealed and crossover with Zelda

A Xenoblade 2 exclusive Nintendo Direct has introduced a series first expansion pass and a crossover with Breath of the Wild.

Available from December 1, players can purchase a 5 pack Expansion Pass for £26.99 that will provide them content until Autumn 2018.

In December, players will get some helpful items to begin their adventure, but this will be followed by new quests for the main game in January 2018.

In the Spring, a rare new blade will be added to the game, with an all-new challenge mode in the Summer, and new story content in the Autumn. It definitely seems to offer a bit more value for money than the Zelda Season Pass, though does come in at a heavier price tag.

Speaking of Zelda, Nintendo have also confirmed a shock crossover with a new quest being added to BOTW on November 9 that will let you obtain a Rex outfit for Link.

A free Dual Audio patch will also be available to download at launch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch on December 1.
