Darkest Dungeon 2 will get an all-new paid DLC before the end of the year, launching alongside a major free update.
The interestingly titled Inhuman Bondage DLC will provide an all-new hero for you to try, as the Abomination will return to the series.
As before in Darkest Dungeon, you’ll play an Alchemist who has an Incredible Hulk lurking within and is a true Jekyl and Hyde. The hero will also have their own trinkets, signature items, weapon kits and even origin story with playable flashbacks.
Meanwhile, you’ll also be able to visit The Catacombs which is a high-risk, high reward region with slimy foes and new items that can be played within Confessions mode, as well as an all new Kingdoms Mode coming later this year.
The free update – The Hunger of the Beast Clan – will be the first of three ‘thematic modules’ and the game mode Kingdoms will launch alongside it. This will be a ‘parallel game experience to the Confessions game mode’ and within it players will fight waves of new enemy factions. First up will be rotting and ravenous beastmen.
More info on the new mode will come later this year. Darkest Dungeon 2 is out now on PC, PS, and Xbox.
