Destiny 2 DLC 2 comes alongside Season 3 in May

Bungie have confirmed that the next major expansion for Destiny 2 will release in May alongside Season 3.

Game Director at Bungie, Christopher Barrett, has confirmed it in a tweet.

There is no specific date, but we imagine it will be similar in size to Curse of Osiris with new story missions, maps, and loot.

This was inspired by the release of the Destiny 2 Development Roadmap which outlines some of the changes coming in content updates.

In February’s update there will be updates to existing playlists, as well as a reduction in renewing anagrams for exotics. There’s also upgrades to Nightfall Strikes, giving them greater rewards, and an increase in overall speed and mobility of Destiny 2 PVP.
