Far Cry 5 DLC pits you against spiders, zombies and troops in Vietnam

The Far Cry 5 Season Pass looks to be the most intriguing and exciting batch of DLC we’ve seen in a long while.

In addition to the three unique packs, those who preorder will also get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition for Current-Gen System free of charge, as well as access to it 4 weeks early.

Described as an ‘update to the classic open-world adventure game’ as yet, we don’t know what comes packaged into this remastered edition of the game.

The three pieces of content don’t necessarily seem to expand the story of Far Cry 5, rather go the Blood Dragon route and throw out the rule book entirely.

In Dead Living Zombies, you’ll get to mow down waves of the undead in what could be Left 4 Dead style content. God, I want a threequel to that game!

Then there’s Hours of Darkness which takes you back to the frontlines of Vietman to battle Viet Cong, and finally Lost on Mars where you go to Mars … and fight martian spiders. Really!

It all sounds quirky and crazy and we can’t wait to dive in.

Far Cry 5 releases March 27 on PS4, Xbox One and PC
