DOOM VFR expands the universe into VR today

DOOM VFR, a Virtual Reality spin-off of the legendary franchise has launched today for Playstation VR and HTC Vive.

It’s also apparently playable on Oculus Rift thanks to a SteamVR Beta update which addresses the issues preventing the game running on the headset.

Compatible with PS-Aim, as well as Move and other motion devices, DOOM VFR faithfully recreates the tension and monster hunting through a UAC facility on Mars.

Players will go through intense combat situations as well as puzzle solving as the last known human survivor whos consciousness has been transferred to an artificial brain matrix.

The aim is to restore stability to the facility, no matter the cost, and survive the deepest recesses of hell.

DOOM VFR (Virtual Fucking Reality, by the way) is available now at the lower price point of £19.99. We hope to check this out at some point, but let us know your thoughts if you’re already knee deep in the dead zone.
