Fallout 76 is getting Seasons to overhaul the Challenge System

Fallout 76 is not only free to play this weekend, but there’s a major seasonal based update coming soon.

Fallout 76 will be getting seasons. 76 of them, unsurprisingly. And it begins with Patch 20 coming this Summer.

Basically, there will be Community Challenges, Legendary Perks, Public Teams, and a new Legendary Boss Event.

Each Season will offer something different, each one with its own unique challenges to complete.

Additional bundles and perks will be released at the time to coincide with the launch.

This is followed in the Fall by a massive Season 2 refresh and an all-new questline – Steel Dawn – which seems to focus on the Brotherhood and their origins in the game.

In the Fall update, there will be another Bombs Drop Event and Daily Ops where you can earn scaling rewards.

Finally, this Winter is the Fractured Steel update, which sees a Season 3 refresh, a scorched holiday event, new perk loadouts, C.A.M.P Shelters, and Expeditions.

It’s an exciting time to be a Fallout 76 player, for sure! More as we get it.
