Monster Hunter World: Iceborne DLC takes us to Hoarfrost Reach on September 6

Monster Hunter World’s first major expansion – Iceborne – will release September 6 on consoles.

The expansion features the same amount of content as the base game, with development running in parallel with it.

The story is set after the main campaign and introduces players to a new snowy region – Hoarfrost Reach.

Traipsing through the Reach will necessitate players trying to find ways to keep warm.

New monsters include an elder dragon called Velkhana, the returning Nargacuga, and Banbaro.

A new Master Rank will also be obtainable, similar to G Rank.

Monster Hunter Iceborne sounds absolutely massive and awesome and we don’t have much longer to wait.

Console owners will be able to get it on September 6th, while PC owners will have to wait until the Winter.
