There’s a couple of classic franchises making a comeback this week and one of them isn’t using a skateboard but a drum kit!

Patapon 1+2 Replay launches on July 10 for PC, PS, and Switch. Originally releasing back in 2007 / 2008 on PSP, both games are now bundled back together for an all new collection and it’s looking great.

Remastered for new systems, players use 4 Mystical Drums to command little Patapons, each with their own jobs and characteristics. One is a leader who directs allies, one protects them with a shield, and another shoots arrows. You’ll need to use all these and more to progress through each level.

Both base games remain unchanged, but there are new support features included, such as adjustable difficulty, button press timings and keeping the drum icon displayed.

It’s wonderful to be able to play these classics again, so if skateboarding maybe isn’t your bag, this just might be.
