Out of nowhere, we got a release date for Pokémon Legends: Z-A for both Switch 1 and 2.
On October 16th, the next mainline Pokémon game releases on both Switch 1 and Switch 2, with Switch 2 getting improved frame rate and graphics.
We don’t get much more information than that, but we do know that we’ll hear more about it during the next Pokémon Presents on July 22. So we’ve got a bit of time to wait!
We also know that the Digital and Physical versions of the game can be upgraded to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition via an upgrade pack.
Perhaps the biggest surprise, though, is the price! With Mario Kart World costing £80 and Donkey Kong Bananza costing £70, Serebii has revealed that the Switch 1 version will cost £49.99 whereas the Switch 2 version costs £59.99.
This feels like a comparative bargain compared to the other games, though perhaps as this is not a Switch 2 exclusive whereas the others are, there is a slightly less premium price.
Regardless, this is great and exciting news and we’re very much looking forward to hearing more on July 22.
