Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Crown Tundra releases October 22nd

Crown Tundra was shown off in a new Direct earlier today with a new trailer and information.

Tons of classic Pokemon were seen, from MewTwo to Zapdos, and the likes of Cresselia, Latios, Rayquaza, and more were shown off in Gigantamax form

The Crown Tundra is an icy domain which lets you visit a Pokemon den. Lots of Legendary Pokemon are back in the area, and you’ll be able to collect them, along with wild Dyanmax Pokemon to add to your dex.

There’s also a Galarian Star Tournament, letting you form a dream team against other trainers you’ve faced before.

The expansion releases October 22nd, and to help you get ready, Ash Hat Pikachu can be added to the game right now, along with several other types.

Pokemon Go will also be made functional with Pokemon Sword and Shield through Home by the end of the year, giving you the opportunity to have a Gigantax Malmetal in game.
