Pokémon Sword and Shield Isle of Armor DLC releases June 17, introduces Galarian Slowbro

It’s almost time to revisit the Galar Region as Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor releases June 17th.

The massive expansion was revealed in a brand new trailer, showing off some of the exciting new additions coming in both Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra.

Isle of Armor will not only add the Gigantamax forms of Gen 8 starters, Cinederace, Rillaboom, and Inteleon, but also Gigantamax forms for Blastoise and Venusaur.

A new Legendary is also going to be joining the party in the form of Kubfu and its two evolved forms of Ulaos.

We’ll also see a new Galarian form of a classic Pokémon as Galarian Slowbro is added to the game. This will be only mon in the game that can learn Side Arm Smash.

Perhaps the most exciting reveal related to Crown Tundra, though, as Galarian forms have been revealed for Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

I am absolutely in love with the new Moltres and Galarian. They’re both so glorious!

And as if that’s not enough, two new forms of Regi have been revealed! Regieleci and Regidrago are both electric and dragon types respectively

Another new Legendary will also join the form in the form of Calyrex, which is a psychic/grass-type.

These two expansions look incredible and the trailer also reveals a few more familiar faces being added to the game. Time to get excited, Pokefans.
