Puyo Day is here and to celebrate Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 has just received a host of new additions in a free update.

Four new characters have been added following the major Sonic update and now Serilly, Rafisol, Possessed Klug, as well as Yu & Rei have been added to the roster.

Colour Vision Accessibility options have also been added. Originally introduced in Puyo Puyo Champions, this now adds adjustments for colour saturation.

Six additional Challenge Modes have been introduced for up to four competitors, online and off.

Finally, new background music and avatars have been added, familiar to fans of past Puyo Puyo games.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is now available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Switch. Steam owners will also receive the game on March 23.
