Big shocks to open The Game Awards this year as Final Fantasy VII antagonist, Sephiroth, joins the Smash Brothers Roster.

In a suitable bad ass video, we see Sephiroth and Cloud clash, the white-haired antaognist seem to kill Mario – but just hold him up by the overalls – and Sephiroth’s final form appear to us all.

Best of all, Sephiroth is dropping into Smash this month. We’re sure to get more details very soon, but Sephiroth seems like a fantastic inclusion to the roster.
