The long-awaited 5.3 patch for Final Fantasy XIV Online is now available to download.

It comes alongside an extensive new free trial which now lets players have access to content from A Realm Reborn and Heavensward with no limit on playtime.

They’ve even reworked the initial main scenario questline to speed things up with XP point gains and better gear rewards, as well as the option to use Flying Mounts in A Realm Reborn.

Patch 5.3 concludes the narrative arc started with recent expansion Shadowbringers and is titled Reflections in Crystal.

Tons of new content has been added in this update, including a new Alliance Raid for the NieR Crossover content – YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse.

There’s new Main Scenario quests, as well as an additional dungeon, tribe quests, battle content and job adjustments.

It’s a perfect update for new players and veterans alike and it’s available to download from today across all formats.
