The first of three Shenmue III DLCs – known as Battle Rally – will arrive next week.

On January 21, the first part of the Season pass unlocks, adding head to head battles in races.

If you’re the first to cross the finish line, you’ll bag yourself some neat exclusive items and you don’t just have to play as Ryo Hazuki either.

In a first for the series, you can play as Wuying Ren and Wei Zhen.

Battle Rally will be available on PS4 and PC for £6.49 on January 21. The content can be purchased seperately or as part of the Shenmue III Season Pass.
