Silent Hill Townfall gets 48 hour early access with Deluxe DLC

There was a time when we were craving any Silent Hill game, now we have three in three years!

Silent Hill Townfall follows last years awesome Silent Hill f and the remake of Silent Hill 2, and sees an entirely new team take on a totally different setting.

From Screen Burn, the folks who did the absolutely incredible Observation, this time Silent Hill is going to Scotland in 1996 on the island of St Amelia.

Of course, the town is shrouded in fog and there is a lot of confusion about what’s happening and why you’re there, but as Simon you’ll gradually uncover the truth with a CRTV pocket TV, tools, weapons and a more stealth-driven first person perspective!

It sounds absolutely awesome and as someone who has been loving the Silent Hill renaissance, I’m excited to dive in, especially now it’s more UK-centric!

And while the official release is September 24, if you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition you can actually play two full days earlier on September 22!

With the Standard Edition, you’ll get the base game and a new rusted CRTV filter for the pocket television to change its appearence. But by going digital deluxe and pre-purchasing, you can get 48 hour early access to the game alongside a slew of other cool extras.

A Digital Artbook and OST are included in the Bonus Application pack, as well as an alternative outfit for Simon with a green gilet and baseball cap, changing his appearence in game.

With such an incredible team behind it and a great vibe, this looks like an incredible time and I’m very eager to return to shrouded mystery and jump scares!

Silent Hill Townfall launches on September 24 for PC, PS and Xbox. You can play from September 22 by pre-purchasing the Digital Delxue Edition.
