Insomniac are moving away from Spider-Man and bringing us a more mature take on the super hero genre.
Wolverine – minus the X-Men – is getting his own standalone game exclusive to PS5 this month and there’s some really cool accessories and additions you can grab alongside the release.
Wolverine left the X-Men three years previously, but an unexpected event has brought everyone back together with Bolivar Trask kidnapping mutants. It’s a darker, more grisly version of Wolverine than we’re used to with Logan using his claws to dissect and destroy.
And beyond the standard edition of the game, you can get a digital deluxe edition which offers 5 different suit types, these are…
- Incredible: A suit inspired by Logan’s first appearence in Incredible Hulk Comics in 1962.
- Savage – A unique design by Adam Kubert
- Night Hunt – An alternate blue design by Iban Coello
- New Leather – A suit based on Grant Morrison’s X-Men comic run
- Age of Apocalypse – Timeline bending comic costume
By grabbing the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can also get some extra content, including 5 different Claw types.

Pre-orders for Wolverine will also get that classic brown suit and reflective claws. This is all in addition to the 27 outfits you can get in the gaame already, which even features a crossover Deadpool & Wolverine suit from the movie.
All this in addition to a Wolverine PS5 Control Pad and themed PlayStation 5 which looks absolutely stunningly detailed, coming in either white or yellow variations.
You can even pick them up as console covers if you didn’t want to go all out and buy a new system.
