The upcoming 2.1 patch for Starcraft 2 has received a mini preview over on Battle.net.
Jonathan Burton of Carbot Animations has drawn a few new portraits and decals that will be offered in the new update. There will be six new rewards in the upcoming patch and they can be earned by playing games of HOTS, gaining XP and levelling up. Reaching 32 and 35 with the three races will reward the player with a decal and portrait specific to that race.
Also, the ‘First Win of the Day’ will give a larger XP boost than ever before. A player can now net 100,000 XP by claiming that accomplishment.
More changes are expected to be unveiled closer to the release of 2.1
