Side-scrolling shooter, The Ascent, has been expanded with a new DLC today.

Neon Giant have released a Cyber Heist DLC for £7.99 across all major formats, which is set after the main story of The Ascent.

Once you’ve completed the main game, you’ll be able to take on a top secret contract – either solo or co-op – using brand new weapons, advanced melee combat, in all new location.

The cool thing about the DLC is that if you’re hosting online co-op, as long as you’ve finished the base game, anyone joining your game can also join in on the content.

There’s also melee weapons for the first time in the game, and a ton of side quests to wade through.

A new Cyber Edition of the game bundles this content in, along with the base game, Cyber Warrior and Cyber Sec for £36.99.

The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC is now available across all formats.
