An all new DLC for The Division 2 is launching May 27 across all formats.

Battle for Brooklyn is a brand new DLC that takes players back to NYC in the Autumn – a new time of year for the game.

Despite familiar looking surroundings, this DLC features a lot of new secrets with a narrative that feels like a fresh start for the series – despite being in Year 7 – but also a continuation for players who love the series.

Players will fight Cleaners and Rikers who have the deadly Purple Flame – an acidic like weaponry twist that players will need to contend against.

Battle for Brooklyn also includes a ‘reimagined take on Smart Cover’, where you have offensive and defensive variants that can be applied to PVE and PVP.

Additionally, the Catalyst Exotic Mask – exclusive to the DLC – grants bonuses for damage dealing status effect damage. This marks the beginning of Year 7 for the game, which also will include improved onboarding, more depth to the end game and the solidifcation of seasons that offers new events, gear, and improved gameplay.
