Following a super successful demo that’s gone viral, the highly anticipated Tomodachi Life is coming this week.

Last seen on Nintendo 3DS, now Switch  has its own game and the options seem as vast and exciting as ever. Progress also carries over from the demo, so if you’ve already been playing, you can take your game across with you.

This island full of Miis allows you to talk about the most unexpected, random topics and watch multiple lives unfold while making friends on this quirky island.

You can create Mii characters in your own image or image of those you know, or import ones from the wider game selection, whatever takes your fancy!

With food, outfit and more besides, you can give characters their own personalities and even teach them catchphrases and buzz words.

Relationships and friendships can forge once the Miis get talking but they may even get into arguments or debates, depending on how conversation goes.

The island can also be arranged and adapted however you see fit and customised just like you’ve seen in games such as Animal Crossing and Pokopia. Even with custom crafts.

With supermarkets, news stations and renovations areas, Tomodachi Life is sure to be a game you keep coming back to for months to come and it’s out in just a few short days on April 16 on Nintendo Switch and will be compatible with Switch 2.
