Total War: Three Kingdoms, the next major title from Creative Assembly in their legendary franchise, is being delayed just slightly.
Originally due to release on March 7th, Total War: Three Kingdoms is now expected on May 23 due to some last minute polishing and tweaking.
However, the Total War Twitter account assured players this won’t impact work on the upcoming Total War: Warhammer 2 Skaven and Lizardmen DLC. In fact, the latest content is now expected before the release of Three Kingdoms.
This new DLC follows the Curse of the Vampire Coast Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC from November 8, and is widely speculated to be focused on Lizardmen and Skaven factions, with a new legendary lord expected and new units for each race.
We still don’t have a title for this new DLC or what it will actually be about, but now we know for sure it’s due before May 23 and was unlikely to launch before March 7. It certainly slims the launch window down a bit.
More news as we get it.
