With the success of The Witcher 3, it almost seems crazy not to re-release the originals, but with an Xbox One X Enhanced Patch we may get the next best thing.
Spotted on the Xbox One Dashboard is an announcement for ‘The Witcher Series’ which claims you can ‘Play Witcher 2 enhanced for Xbox One X’.
Xbox have suggested there will be more patches coming soon to enhance some of their older titles.

Seemingly confirmed by Albert Penello, Leads Marketing for Xbox Consoles, there will be more patches soon and it appears The Witcher 2 will be one of them.
Expect an official confirmation soon.
