Words with Friends now more stable on iOS 7

A large Words with Friends update has gone live over the weekend, which massively overhauls the feel of the game on iOS 7, but also adds a key gameplay change.

Version 7.00 makes the game feel a whole lot less clunky and jagged. The interface is smoother and looks a lot sharper. But most importantly, the game feels a lot more responsive, switching between and scrolling through menus is faster and the overall stability of the product is much better. Also, when on a board, the words automatically update this time rather than forcing the player to wait a large amount of time. Words With Friends looks, feels and plays much better on iPhone now. Finally! There’s still work to be done, but this is a big improvement.

Players can also resign on an opponent’s turn in the More Option if they’re in a Quitting mood and just want to get out of a game.

The update weighs in at 27mb and can be grabbed right now.
