Worms W.M.D gets new multiplayer trailer

A new multiplayer trailer for Worms W.M.D (Wonderful Multiplayer Destruction) and celebratory infographic has just been released.

Worms is celebrating its 21st Anniversary this year, and in the next release players will be able to use vehicles like tanks and helicopters during battle. They can even enter buildings for the first time!

Helicopters allow you to soar into the skies and rain down on your foes with a hailstorm of bullets. Tanks – meanwhile – pack one hell of a punch that can send your squidgy buddies swan-diving off the edge of a cliff.

It all looks incredibly explosive and flashy. There’s even a glimpse of the Concrete Donkey and Holy Hand Grenade in there. So I’m happy.

You can play through various single player modes, or take part in the game’s infamous multiplayer with local and online modes. You can play with up to six other players, and each team can have up to eight worms on it!

In multiplayer, there will be the option for quick matches, lobby browsing, ranked matches, unranked matches, and custom.

There’s no release date yet, but we’re already beyond hyped. Worms W.M.D is coming to PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 sometime this year.

For now, check out the full infographic below and be amazed by the incredible stats.
