From Monday, Microsoft will introduce a new ‘Play to Earn’ scheme to Xbox Live.
Xbox Live Rewards members can earn items and Microsoft Points by playing and purchasing Arcade games.
From the 1st April, Avatar items and up to 800 Microsoft Points can be earned throughout the course of the month.
Playing any combination of Arcade games for 20 hours during April will see users earn a new avatar item. Meanwhile, if they purchase four arcade games for a minimum 400 points they will earn one month of XBLA Gold.
Also, if users spend 3200 Microsoft Points on Arcade games, they will earn 800 Microsoft Points in return.
