In their annual investor report today, Activision has confirmed it will release ongoing content for its current titles and releases of remastered versions of titles in 2018.
It has been widely anticipated that the Spyro trilogy will receive the same treatment as Crash Bandicoot’s N-Sane Trilogy this year, but the use of titles (plural) hints that may not be the only game that gets a facelift. There has also been speculation that Activision will release Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered and / or Black Ops 1 following the success of the original.
At this point, neither title has been officially confirmed.
In addition, Activision have confirmed that World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and the next Call of Duty title will release in the second half of 2018.
They will also continue to support Overwatch with in-game events, map packs for Call of Duty: WWII and expansion packs for both Hearthstone and Destiny 2.
Two new mobile titles are also expected, including a social casino title from King.
