All You Need To Know About Watch Dogs: Legion Pre Orders, Editions, DLC, and more

Watch Dogs are back in just a few short weeks and this time they’re taking over London.

Ubisoft’s elite group of hackers are forming a resistance in near-future London in a game that lets you recruit and play as anyone.

Coming to current gen platforms and optimised for next gen, Watch Dogs: Legion is looking awesome and there’s plenty to talk about with multiple editions and announced content.

Here’s all we know about Watch Dogs Legion so far.

Formats

Watch Dogs: Legion is releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and UPlay on October 29th.

The game is also optimised for next-gen consoles, supporting Smart Delivery on Xbox Series S l X and will be eligible for a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade. The updated version will be available at launch of all next-gen consoles.

DLC

Watch Dogs: Legion is confirmed to be getting DLC and has its own Season Pass. This will include two post-game story expansions, one of which will feature the protagonist of Watch Dogs 1 – Aiden Pierce.

There is also another story-based expansion with details to be confirmed.

The Season Pass also includes four unique heroes, a Dedsec Car Skin, and three Deadsec Missions.  These are…

  • Not in our name.
  • Guardian Protocol.
  • Swipe Right.

Pre Order Bonuses

If you pre-order Watch Dogs Legion, you’ll get the ‘Golden King Pack’ which includes a Lux Car Skin, Uneasy Lies Mask Skin, and a Serpent Sisters Gun Skin.

Editions

There will be five different editions of the game – Standard, Gold, Resistance, Ultimate and Collectors Editions. All are now available to pre-order.

Standard Edition

This costs £59.99 and will include the base game, along with the Golden King Pack.

Gold Edition

This costs £84.99 and will include the base game, along with the Golden King Pack, three days early access to the game, and the full Season Pass.

The physical edition can also be purchased with a steelbook.

Resistance Edition (GAME Exclusive)

This costs £57.99 and will include the base game, along with the Golden King Pack, 1 week VIP Status, and the Resistant Pack which unlocks Lynx in the game.

Lynx is a new hacker character with an animal inspired mask and outfit.

Ultimate Edition

This costs £91.99 and will include the base game, along with the Golden King Pack, three days early access to the game, the full Season Pass, as well as an Ultimate Pack.

The Ultimate Pack gives you 4 week VIP status – meaning you earn XP and Currency 30% faster. You’ll also get the Urban Jungle Pack which gives you three additional heroes and mask, and an Elite Pass Voucher which grants you access to exclusive in-game challenges and rewards.

The physical edition can also be purchased with a steelbook.

Collector’s Edition

This will include everything above, plus a Collector’s Edition box, an exclusive Steelbook, a set of 3 stickers, a double-sided propaganda poster, and a lighting DED coronet mask (38cm) which works with 2 AAA Batteries.

Watch Dogs Legion will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and UPlay beginning October 29th.
