In one of the more unexpected, but welcome collaborations in recent memory, Left 4 Dead is getting crossed over with Resident Evil 6.
The PC versions of Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 are getting merged and will bring L4D2 survivors, Coach, Ellis, Nick and Rochelle to PC exclusive Resident Evil 6 mode, The Mercenaries: No Mercy. Even better, 2 Left 4 Dead 2 beasties will be added to the Resident Evil roving hordes. Players will now have to go up against the shrieking Witch and a mini-Tank.
Don’t worry, though, Left 4 Dead 2 will also see some Resident Evil 6 implementation. Three Res 6 enemies will be added to the game through Steam Workshop. Those enemies are Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman. The content will be added, this Spring.
Meanwhile, the Left 4 Dead content for Resident Evil 6 will be available for free from April 5th.
