If you’re picking up Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales on PS5, you can get the original game remastered with the Ultimate Edition.

Insomniac are bringing the full experience to next-gen, complete with all the City That Never Sleeps DLC, and much more.

Insomniac are bundling a Remastered version of Marvel’s Spider-Man in the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales with a voucher code.

The remaster will see art assets ‘completely updated to take advantage of the PS5 consoles’ horsepower’.

There will be ‘better-looking characters with improved skin, eyes, hair, and facial animation’ as well as ‘ray-traced reflections … ambient shadows, improved lighting, more pedestrians and vehicles’

The Remaster will have near-instant loading, 3D Audio, new Spider-Man suits, and trophies, and will play at a targeted 60fps frame rate.

In the PlayStation blog post, Insomniac also make a first mention of a ‘new, next-generation Peter Parker. Surely a hint of more things to come.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition is a launch title for PlayStation 5 and will release physically and digitally from November 12th.
