Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has sold 4 million copies globally

Capcom have revealed that the massive Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has sold 4 million copies worldwide.

This takes Monster Hunter World’s total sales to an extremely impressive 15 million across the globe. This is a new sales record for Capcom.

Iceborne released on PS4 and Xbox One back in September and has just released for PC owners.

That said, those PC owners have cited some issues with launch, including the loss of save files and performance issues. Capcom are already on the case, though.

In a recent Twitter post, they’ve acknowledged the issues and will be releasing a patch in the coming days, bringing the game to version 10.12.01.
