More Mirror’s Edge 2 Rumors Abound After Reference Found on EA’s Site

A NeoGAF user’s May 30, 2013 post showing the discovery of a Mirror’s Edge 2 page on EA’s official Help Center website has helped to fuel the hopes of gamer’s everywhere that the 2008 parkour based first-person action game (available on Playstation 3, X Box 360, and PC) might make a return in the near future.

EA has taken the page down, but you can see a screenshot of it on NeoGaf here:

Rumors of a sequel, which has been talked about by EA for years, have been swirling after the recent discovery of product pages for the game in Amazon Germany and Amazon Italy. Both listings have also since been removed.

Speculation is that the game may be an Xbox One exclusive. The game’s Amazon Germany listing said it was for Xbox 360, and Microsoft is poised to announce multiple exclusive games for its new system in the near future.

There has been no official announcement from EA, but with E3 just around the corner and the next generation of gaming starting a few months after that, many fans of the original are hoping their Faith will be rewarded.
