Nintendo Switch Firmware Update 10.0.0 tweaks controller configurations and allows software transfer

A major Switch Firmware update unexpectedly dropped and its made some big changes.

In addition to new Animal Crossing Icons which can be used for your profile, there’s the option to remap controller buttons.

Analog stick and button configurations can now be changed for each paired controller and custom configurations can be saved as favourites on the Switch itself. Up to five favourite total for Joy-Con (L) Joy-Con (R) and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers.

You can also now transfer software data between the system memory and SD card, though some save and update data is exempt from being transfered.

300 news items can also now be bookmarked, and you can delete play activity in user settings.

The update is rolling out worldwide right now.
