SEGA have announced that they will be re-releasing Total War: Shogun 2 in the form of a Gold Edition.
Unfortunately, there will be some variation of versions between the different territories.
The North American Gold Edition includes the main DLC released for the game, Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai.
Rise of the Samurai is based on the Gempei War, a conflict set 400 years before the events of the base game.
Fall of the Samurai is a standalone expansion set in 19th century Japan in which traditional Samurai culture collide with modern technology.
Meanwhile, the European and Australian version of the bundle features Fall and Rise, as well as all small-release DLC packs.

Still, North Americans can console themselves that they’ll get the Gold Edition earlier than anywhere else on March 5th. Europeans and Australians will have to wait a little bit longer as their copy will re-release on March 8th.
