A surprise remaster of the original Warhammer 40k: Space Marine is coming and it releases very soon!

Following the amazing success of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 last year, it seemed like a matter of time before we got to replay the original game on modern hardware. Especially with how closely connected the stories are and confirmation  of a threequel.

On June 10, you can play Captain Titus’ original adventure thanks to SneakyBox. This update has 4K resolution, modern controls, an overhaul of the UI, along with remastered audio and character models. Best of all, it’s launching straight into Xbox Game Pass on Day One!

The entire game has been brought over from a 32-bit to a 64-bit system upgrade and all textures have been improved. The other big surprise, however, is this version of Space Marine appears to be skipping both PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. At least, for now.

Regardless, our appetites are suitably satiated following this announcement and after loving our time with Space Marine 2, we’re quite ready to dip back into this one again!
