According to Insider Gaming, via tech4gamers forums, FROM Software may be looking into their next major expansion.
Following the success of Shadow of the Erdtree for Elden Ring, attention seems to be turning back to their hit game of last year, Armored Core VI.
In the post on tech4gamers, it says that FROM Software have updated the ‘responsibilities section of a current job listing that requires a developer well versed in modelling and texturing characters of robots’.
While this could be in preparation for a further sequel – in fact, Tech4Gamers state outright that’s exactly what’s happening – or indeed an entirely new IP, there have previously been suggestions that a DLC may be in the works for AC VI, as found within the games files, spelling out the letters DLC specifically with terms such as ‘DLC parts’ and ‘DLC ownership’.
It would certainly be a welcome addition considering how hot AC VI was last year and the tear FROM Software are currently on.
