Assassin’s Creed Mirage not due to receive post launch DLC or updates

The next mainline Assassin’s Creed game isn’t too far away, but unlike Valhalla, this one will be a lot slimmer.

Confirmed in a Reddit AMA, Stéphane Boudon, Assassin’s Creed Mirage Creative Director, has said. “For now, Mirage has no plan for DLC or extensive post-launch,”

While there’s obviously some flexibility in those comments, the answer seems pretty definitive for now.

Due to release October 12 across all major formats, players will take on the role of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, set in 9th century Baghdad.

Mirage is being pitched as a ‘return to form’ Assassin’s Creed experience.
