The highly anticipated free story update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch this September.

Before that, though, there will be some major updates beginning this July 29th, beginning a major Summer roadmap for the game.

On July 29th, New Game + mode will be added to the game, along with a Level Cap Increase, Knowledge Rank 9 & 10 and Forge Level 4.

This will also be accompanied by new Achievements/Trophies, as well as Store Content and Animus Rewards.

Then at the beginning of September, you’ll be able to fast forward the time of day, unfog the worldmap, get some updates to hideouts and uncapped frame rate in cut-scenes on PC only. There will also be additional free content.

Finally, on September 16 is Claws of Awaji, an expansion which includes a new region to explore, new weapon and abilities, outfits and legendary gear.

You’ll also contend against a new enemy faction and have an all new chapter of the story.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available on PC, PS and Xbox. The game is also rumoured to be launching on Nintendo Switch 2 sometime this year.
