Denki has just released a massive new update for Autonauts which brings the game into the Industrial Revolution.

As you might expect, players can now create railroads and infrastructure, complete with trains to gather resources. This includes 20 new structures and 4 core vehicles.

There’s also new Colonist Evolution, which lets you expand upon the evolution of colonists with new categories in game – Pyramid to Trascendance as well as Health and Education.

To do all this, you’ll need new tools which have been provided, like a Steam Hammer, and new Housing, including a two-storey Brick House.

To suit it all, of course, there’s Dickensian attire, like a Shirt and Tie, Coat and Scarf, and some new toys, like a Horse and Carriage and Dollhouse.

Perhaps the biggest story in this update, though, is new modding support, which lets players upload and download custom scripts, upgrades, and buildings using Steam Workshop. Awesome!

The free update is available from today and is well worth your time. Autonauts is one of 2019’s surprise hits and it’s just got even better!
