Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition surprise releases on June 25

A 20th Anniversary Remaster of Ubisoft Classic Beyond Good and Evil is launching next week.

We knew of the existence of the game from some leaks a while back, but the announcement and release is happening very suddenly and was revealed during a Limited Run Games broadcast last night.

Coming to all formats, this is a celebration of the series and will be accompanied by a physical collectors’ edition of the game with pre-orders starting July 12.

Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition will be playable in 4K up to 60FPS and include various QoL updates, such as autosave, the option to skip cutscenes, full controller and keyboard/mouse support as well as cross-save.

A new speedrun mode is also being added into the game, along with 20 new achievements and a gallery that looks at the game’s history. Perhaps most excitingly, there will be hunts in the game that detail Jade’s past and an exclusive mission that ties it to Beyond Good & Evil 2. Which Ubisoft have once again committed to.
