A remastered version of the original Broken Sword is coming to PC and Consoles Early 2024.

Announced during Gamescom, alongside confirmation of a sixth Broken Sword game, Shadow of the Templars Reforged returns to George Stobbart’s original adventure in 4K.

A Director’s Cut was released several years back, but this will be the first time is released in 4K.

Described as a ‘substantially enhanced version’, Reforged also has remastered audio to accompany the original classic adventure.

Full platform listings aren’t provided yet, but we do know it’s coming to Steam with wishlisting now open.

The trailer looks stunning, the game is an absolute classic, and we cannot wait to experience the adventure all over again.

Also, as mentioned Revolution Software have confirmed Broken Sword 6: Parzival’s Stone is in development and we got a first look at that as well. It’s certainly an exciting time to be a Broken Sword fan.

Broken Sword 6 currently doesn’t have a release timeline.
