With the excellent Bubble Bobble 4 Friends now arriving in North America, Taito have announced plans for future content.

Later this year, classic villain Baron von Blubba will return to the game as part of a free update.

The press release goes on to tell us that Taito are expanding the game’s content further, to include new stages, and additional upcoming features.

Deeper and more challenging content is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks and months ahead.
