We’re in the month of the first and last expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 but that’s just the tip of the iceberg for the game.
A huge 2.0 update is also dropping at the same time which massively overhauls the experience, refining, improving and iterating on everything CD Projekt Red have already done.
Today the developer shared an infographic that probably underscores what’s coming to the game, both in a paid capacity but also what players can expect for already owning it on their platform of choice.
Branded as New Ways to Play, within 2.0 you will see a refined skill tree along with redesigned perks. This also comes accompanied with revamped cyberwear and capacity.
But on top of that you’ll have AI improvements, car chases, improvements to the UI and UX, new loot, radio stations and more.
And that’s just what the 2.0 update gives you. If you pick up Phantom Liberty, the level cap will raise to 60, you’ll get a brand new storyline, of course, featuring the one and only Idris Elba.
On top of that is the Dogtown district, more quests and battles, and items, plus the Relic Skill Tree and abilities, this enables you to create unique builds and fire off some truly powerful abilities.
Here’s the full breakdown of everything you’ll get.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC will drop September 26 across all platforms. 2.0 will launch at the same as a free update.
