A surprise remaster of Day’s Gone is coming to PS5 this April.
Following the trend of other PS3/4 games coming to PS5 with a $10 upgrade fee, Day’s Gone Remastered is the next game to join the list just announced during State of Play.
Showing the quality via PS5 Pro, the Remaster also includes an Enhanced Photo Mode, along with new accessibility features that brings it more in line with what we’re seeing in The Last of Us and God of War.
There’s also a new Horde Assault Mode that feels very much like it says on the tin, with Deacon fighting a whole lot of freakers. Other options also seem to include a Permadeath and Speedrun Mode, with full VRR support.
While the prospects of a full sequel seem more of a question mark, Dary’s Gone Remastered will be launching on PS5 and all of the above content will launch on PC as the ‘Broken Roads’ DLC on April 25.
