It’s always a party when a new Hideo Kojima game is about to release and this is the biggest in years.
Following the massive critical success of Death Stranding, a game which launched Kojima Productions, this week we finally have the long-awaited sequel which launches straight onto PlayStation 5.
Featuring a returning Norman Reedus, as well as an all-star cast that includes the likes of Elle Fanning, Troy Baker, George Miller, and Léa Seydoux, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a direct sequel to the original game, boasting a bigger, broader open world, all while maintaining the game’s core and essence.
Available from July 26, you can pick up a standard or Digital Deluxe Edition only on PlayStation 5, which includes…
- DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH
- 48 Hours Early Access to the Game
- Machine Gun [MP] (Lv.1) early unlock
- Quokka, Chiral Cat and Why Me? Patches
Meanwhile all pre-orders of the game include….
- Battle Skeleton: Silver (LV1, LV2, LV3)
- Boost Skeleton: Silver (LV1, LV2, LV3)
- Bokka Skeleton: Silver (LV1, LV2, LV3)
- Custom Hologram: Quokka early unlock
The Collectors Edition also includes some lovely extras in a physical box, which adds…
-
- 15” Magellan Man statue
- 3” Dollman figurine
- Art cards
- Letter from Hideo Kojima
Death Stranding 2 has more action than the first, and boasts a much bigger, more vibrant world. In addition, the games are socially connected, so your actions can influence and affect another person’s game, similar to how it did in the first.
In the game, you once again play as Sam Porter Bridges in an attempt to ‘connect Australia to the Chiral Network’ and this time will face against natural disasters, and build infastructures and equipment in order to survive.
It looks absolutely fantastic and will be arriving exclusively on PlayStation 5 on June 26.
