It’s been a while since we got a new Souls-like on the block but that’s all about to change.
Following the recent DLC for Lies of P in Overture, a brand new take set in the Ming Dynasty is coming from 505 Games and Leenzee – WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers.
Heading straight into Xbox Game Pass on July 24th, alongside PC and PlayStation, you’ll play as Wuchang, a pirate warrior that awakes in a cave with amnesia, afflicted by a mysterious ‘Feathering disease’.
As you explore the lands of Shu, upgrading and augmenting your weapons, acquiring Red Mercury to develop new techniques, and mastering the game’s unique combat style.
Looking like a cross between Sekiro and NIOH with the magical properties of an Elden Ring, WUCHANG is a stunning looking game, filled with horrifying abominations and a deep story to comb through.
If you pre-order the game, you’ll get two enhanced costume sets, being White and Night Spectre, as well as a unique weapon to trial out – The Vermillion War Club (Axe) and a Glistening Red Mercury Upgrade.
The game also has a Deluxe Edition with lots of other additional extras, including four costume types…
- Soul Ritual Robe
- Tiger of Fortune
- Overlord’s Regala
- Draconic Resurgence
Weapons also include a
- Dragon’s Coil Lance (Spear)
- Moonlight Dragon (Sword)
- Watcher’s Gaze (Sword)
- Eternal Sovereignity (Dual Blades)
You’ll also get a Large Blood of Changhong Skill Upgrade Item Large.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers launches July 24 for PC, PS and Xbox Game Pass. We look forward to sharing our impressions of the game a bit later this week!
