During yesterday’s War Table event, it was confirmed that Hawkeye will be post-launch DLC.

Hawkeye will be added as free DLC and will get his own original story-arc which features iconic Hawkeye moments from the comics.

You’ll get to use Hawkeye’s vintage bow and trick arrows, playing in either solo or co-op.  And all new missions will be playable from the entire roster of Avengers.

More details will be announced in the future, with additional content being debuted with Hawkeye’s story and a new villain.

It was also confirmed that the beta begins next week on August 7th with a public beta, running for the next three weekends. This will depend if you pre-ordered the game or not.

The first weekend is for those who’ve pre-ordered the game on PlayStation 4, while the second weekend is for those who pre-ordered on Xbox and PC, and the third weekend is open to everyone.

This will feature the Golden Gate stage, as well as additional single-player and co-op missions.

Marvel’s Avengers releases on September 4th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also receive a free update to support Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 upon launch of the next-gen consoles.
