Valve have now confirmed that Left 4 Dead 2 servers will run a popular LOTR inspired Survival mode map by default.
Developed by Team Chivalry and SeriouS Samurai, this Survival mode map sees a players defend a massive stone fortress against Tolkein inspired undead. The mod is a real pleasure to play, and despite the wacky concept, works pretty darn well.

It’s a fantastic interpretation of Helm’s Deep and casts a whole different light on Left 4 Dead 2.
